Outer Banks Fishing

The Outer Banks, in North Carolina, are one of the hottest fishing spots in the world.  If you’re looking for some awesome recreational land for sale in North Carolina, and love to fish, you’ll definitely want to check out the Outer Banks.  This “recreational playground” has over 800 square miles of accessible water.  The Pamlico Sound, which separates OBX from the main land is an 80 mile long breeding ground for most of the fish caught off the coast.  Also, the Gulf Stream is only 12 miles from the shore here, which is the closest the fish-filled current comes North of Florida.  The waters here are filled with tuna and many trophy fish, including blue marlin, white marlin and sailfish.  The Nags Head Fishing Pier at milepost 12 is open to fishermen for $10 per person.
